Staffing Arrangements
Staff will be on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
When the General Manager is not on duty the Deputy Manager or a Qualified Nurse will be in charge. The General Manager can be contacted by telephone as required. Staffing numbers/roles will vary according to the assessed needs of the residents.
Kitchen Staff; a cook will provide food for 7 days a week and will be supported by an assistant cook and kitchen assistants.
Domestic Staff; domestic and laundry services are provided 7 days a week and are supervised by the Auxiliary Manager.
Gardener/Handyman; Two handymen are employed one for 40 hours per week and one for 30 hours a week to ensure that all minor maintenance issues are resolved in a timely manner. They are also responsible for the ongoing programme of redecoration in the home and garden maintenance.
Activities; an activities co-ordinator arranges and delivers activities and in addition care staff will undertake a range of activities suitable to meet the needs of the residents each morning and afternoon.
Administration & Personnel Support; support is provided 5 days a week.

The home is registered with the Quality Commission to care for 79 people, male or female who require nursing care.
- 66 of the residents will live in the home
- 12 people will use the home for an assessment of their future needs or to give their carers a break.
There may be occasions when people with differing needs are accommodated. They will, however, have to present needs that can be managed by the expertise of the staff group and will be in accordance with the general age range and functioning of the resident group.

Paula Clark (Company secretary and director of CareConcepts Ltd) holds qualifications in Management and Personnel Management with 12 years of experience in the care setting.
How often are the nurses on duty?
Our highly experienced nurses are on duty 24 hours a day and are supported by the management team.
What happens on Bank Holidays?
We provide our care services 24/7, 365 days a year. On Bank Holidays the care services you receive will continue as usual unless we are otherwise informed.
